Wonderful! I travelled to Seattle a few weeks ago and had a blast. My husband and I rented bikes from "Ride Bicycles" and rode around the outter edge of Seattle along a designated bike and walking path. We saw Google and rode by the water. It was great to see the small boat houses. We even stopped for a bit at the Fremont Farmer's Market and enjoyed the crafts and artisan foods. My favorite booth was a small screenprinting business called Butterfly Buddha!
My last day in Seattle was spent on a bike tour with Seattle Cycling Tours! Thanks Craig! It was great to hear the history of the city and the architecture while riding around the city. Check out the library if you have a chance! We rode through what the locals call "Amazonia". We mainly rode on the street and some streets had designated bicycle lanes. I definitely felt comfortable with Craig leading the way and recommend this tour when you visit Seattle.
Designated bicycle lanes: Some

*Leisurely ride (tour guide helpful to navigate streets)
Notes: We biked some hills but not many on the tour.
